Hi there, and welcome to DPI Increase. We’re glad you found us.
We started this site for a simple reason. Too many people get stuck at the last step: a print shop, a visa portal, a job application or a publisher asks for a “300 DPI image”, and suddenly you’re hunting for heavy software, signing up for accounts or paying for something that should take a few seconds. We thought that was a little silly, so we built a better way.
What we do
DPI Increase is a set of free, simple online tools for working with image resolution. Right now you can:
- Increase Image DPI: change the DPI of your JPG, PNG, WEBP or BMP images to 72, 150, 300, 600 or any value you need, then download the result in one click.
- Check Image DPI: see the DPI, pixel size and print readiness of any image instantly, before you send it anywhere.
We’re working on more tools, so keep an eye on the site.
Your images stay with you
This is the part we care about most. Our tools run right inside your browser. Your images are not uploaded to our servers, not stored and not seen by anyone. The work happens on your own device, which also means it’s fast, even with several images at once.
Honest about what DPI does
We’d rather be honest than oversell. Changing DPI updates the resolution information that printers and design software read. It does not magically add new detail to a blurry photo, and no tool, free or paid, really can. What it does is make sure your file meets the DPI requirement you’ve been given, and that is exactly what most people need.
Who uses DPI Increase
- Students and job seekers: uploading photos and documents to forms that ask for a specific DPI.
- Designers and photographers: preparing files for print shops and clients.
- Small businesses: getting logos, flyers and product photos print-ready.
- Anyone: who just wants the job done without installing software.
